Losing someone is one of the hardest things anyone has to face, but finding a lasting way to remember them can be a great comfort. A Hospice of St Francis Tribute Page set up in your loved one’s memory is a positive, simple and wonderful way to honour, remember and celebrate their life whilst making a real difference to the lives of others.

How your page helps

The contribution you make through your page will help raise the £5m The Hospice of St Francis needs every year to support patients who have a life-limiting illness and their families. Please help us to provide care and support when it matters most.

About The Hospice of St Francis, Berkhamsted

The Philip Warr Tribute Page

"My brother Philip was in St. Francis hospice for just one night. Most of the staff hadn't met him before. Yet the compassion they showed during his all-too short stay was exceptional. We never felt he was just a number in a bed or an item on someone's to-do list. In fact, their big-hearted care extended to all his relatives and friends who kept vigil through that last, painful day.

Collecting money for the staff and work of the hospice seemed a natural response. It gave us perhaps a sense of purpose in those early lost days, while the kind words people left with every donation were so touching. In the end, we raised over £3,500, topped up by some £600 of gift aid. I find it comforting to think that ten more people and their families can now receive the kind of support we did with Philip."   Simon Warr
